Hello my Lovelies!
My Bali adventure, where to begin? The Bali experience is something that can´t be explained, its a cultural and spiritual journey that needs to be experiences in order to be understood. Bali is called “The Island of The Gods”, and appropriately so.
Bali is a Mecca for food lovers – especially the South of Bali and the heart of the island Ubud is a food lover´s heaven.
It doesn’t matter if you are a vegetarian, vegan or meat lover. Whether you are a coffee addict or a smoothie fan. From super healthy, organic food to Pizza, Burgers and the local cuisine – in Bali you can find all kinds of amazing food!
So grateful, that I could participate 4 days @Sayurihealingfoodacademy to bring my raw food experience to the next level. I still want to learn more – planning to comeback end of the year to improve and learn more about the different techniques, make Italian Lasagna, Enchiladas, Chinese Spring Rolls, Raw Balinese Nasi Campur, advanced raw noodle variations such as Tortellini, Cannelloni and Tagliatelle. As well as Sayuri´s personal signature Nigiris with raw vegan smoked eel, squid and other mind-blowing toppings.
So exited to share my second experience with you – but first comes first 🙂
I brought some tasty recipes back to my beautiful island and want to share some of them with you in my blog post.
This trip, I was lucky enough to experience some of the most beautiful locations the island has to offer, beginning in Uluwatu, then so Sanur, with the boat to Lembongan, Nusa Penida and back to Ubud. I was swimming in crystal blue waters and infinity pools, practicing yoga every damn day, shopping in the adorable boutiques, markets, relaxing at the cool cafes and dining at world class restaurants. The thing I love most about Bali is that it offers something for everone, amazing wave breaks, unique shopping, some of the most beautiful beaches in the world and for the foodie, fantastic restaurants.
I feel as though Bali is also a reminder of how important kindness and generosity are: the locals are so lovely and cheerful that it would be hard to have a bad day, someone was always putting a smile on my face.
I hope you will enjoy some of my recipes – don´t forget to snap a photo and share it online and tag me so I can re-share your beautiful home cooked meals.
